Bring your passion and professionalism to the Lower Manhattan Hospital Pulmonary Function Testing Laboratory where we offer the latest technologies and equipment. Our team performs a variety of pulmonary function tests including, spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, airway resistance, thoracic gas volume, respiratory muscle strength, and arterial puncture testing. Ensure equipment is prepared for use by selecting, assembling, and verifying functionality and cleanliness.

Collect and evaluate clinical data, while performing and evaluating quality control data. Hold our practices to the highest standards.

This is a Full-Time position, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM
-4:00PM. No Weekends or holidays in the The PFT lab . Cross training opportunities too.

It is in the Lower Manhattan Hospital Wellness Center on 170 William Street.
** Required Criteria
*** Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
* Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
* Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by The University of the State of New York, Education Dept
* 1 year experience in spirometry testing, lung volume testing, diffusion capacity testing, six minute walk testing, and arterial blood sampling and analysis
** Preferred Criteria
*** Registered/Certified Pulmonary Technologist by the National Board of Respiratory Care ( RPFT/CPFT)
