We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technologist, CT-IV Cert. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures. Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross‑section images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
Job Responsibilities- Performs filming of optimum quality and archives the data.
- Uses efficient methods and completes examinations assigned in reasonable amount of time.
- Performs transmission and/or segmentation for transmission to PACS in a complete Ukraine proper anatomic display.
- Generates high quality hard copies of images when necessary.
- Maintains cleanliness of radiographic area. Prepares equipment and supplies in advance for future exams.
- Makes alterations in work schedule for STAT and emergency cases.
- Is able to alter work patterns to satisfy the needs of the patient and medical staff. Is able to recognize a medical emergency and notifies nurse, PA and/or MD immediately.

- Assist in the technical orientation of cross‑trained technologist and instructs them in complex or difficult procedures.

- Demonstrates ability to access patient information such as appointment times, type of exam, and patient reports.
- Is knowledgeable of the total cycle of RIS patient tracking. Follows departmental policy of documenting begin, complete and departure times, when appropriate, in the RIS.

- Competent in scheduling exams in RIS from the order entry queue and/or demonstrates the ability to modify exams when necessary.
- Demonstrates skill in setup and administration of IV contrast media.
- Explains CT or IR procedure and process of administration of contrast to patient and engages radiologist and/or LIP as appropriate per policy.
