Temporary HCSR II

Temporary HCSR II Position Summary

We are currently hiring a temporary full time Nationally Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to work in our Harlem-based family medicine practice.

Key Duties
  • Process blood draws, collects specimens and processes lab orders.
  • Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
  • Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medical history and accurately records in medical records.
  • Completes referrals and discharges patients.
  • Assists providers and nurses during all aspects of exams.
  • Assist provider with treatments
  • Schedules for appointments, verify insurance and demographic information.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Medical Assistant Certificate/Training School and National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Responsible individual who genuinely wants to support our patients.
Starting Compensation

Minimum: $21.00/hour;
Maximum: $21.00/hour

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule

Onsite in Harlem, 40 hour shift Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
