Dietary Aide
The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a talented and hard-working Dietary Aide to join our team.
Duties Include:- Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
- Label and date food properly
- Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room
- Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine
- Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units
- Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed
- Carry out garbage
Qualifications:
- Must have dietary aide experience (LTC preferred but not required)
- Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
- Able to follow and understand procedures
- Positive attitude, patience and team mentality
Salary:$17 an hour
