Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – New York, NY

Our client, a private diagnostic radiology practice located in Manhattan, specializing in a broad range of imaging modalities, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join their growing team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations while ensuring exceptional patient care, comfort, and safety throughout the diagnostic process.

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including General, OB/GYN, Small Parts, Vascular, and ultrasound-guided invasive procedures
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout all examinations
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic information
• Maintain precise and timely patient records and documentation
• Demonstrate strong communication skills with patients and team members
• Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology through ongoing education and training
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment through active participation in team initiatives

• ARDMS registration required
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on ultrasound experience
• Strong technical proficiency with ultrasound equipment and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety

$45–$55+/hour, based on experience
