Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Mental Health

Reports To:

Chief of Mental Health

• Conduct psychosocial assessment, may include diagnostic interview
• Develop and implement treatment plan
• Provide psychotherapeutic interventions, including individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, play therapy, family and couple counseling, and other evidence-based treatments
• Provide crisis intervention
• Provide case management services
• Provide agency referral and follow up
• Provide community outreach/education services
• Maintain treatment records in accordance with Health Center’s guidelines
• Participate in agency Quality Assurance activities and case conference
• Supervise LMSWs, interns, and volunteers
• Ability to work on weekends and during late hours
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited social work school
• New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) License required
• At least 2 years of experience as a social worker in mental health field
• Basic CPR (BCLS) Certification required (Health Center will provide if needed)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills a must
• Bilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) required

• Salary: $65,000. per year
