** Job Summary
** The Assistant Chief Technologist oversees daily imaging operations at the Moses Division, coordinating staff and resources to ensure efficient patient throughput. This role ensures a safe, high-quality clinical environment that meets the needs of patients and physicians, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The position also supports staff training, competency, and workflow optimization.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Supervise and coordinate daily imaging operations, staff, and resource allocation
* Ensure technical staff competency and adherence to imaging protocols and quality standards
* Assign schedules and ensure adequate 24/7 staffing coverage
* Maintain compliance with radiation safety, departmental policies, and regulatory requirements
* Promote patient and staff safety and continuous quality improvement
* Conduct monthly quality assurance reviews and report findings
* Train and support staff in PACS, Epic, and related imaging systems
* Monitor workflows to improve efficiency and service delivery

**** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
* NYS Department of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist required
* ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with
** CT or MRI certification
** required* Prior experience in imaging operations or supervisory role
* Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance
* Proficiency with PACS, Epic, and imaging systems
* Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
