Healthcare Assistant, Optometry

A patient-focused, optometry practice and eyewear boutique seeking a responsible, personable, and detail-oriented Optical Assistant to join our team (will begin as Part-time work).

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is serious about starting a career. While no prior experience is required, we are looking for a professional, responsible and dedicated person who is committed to learning and growing with us, this wouldn’t be a good fit for someone looking to do as little as possible to get by. This is a part-time position that may expand to full-time and requires Saturday availability.

• Assist patients with appointments, insurance, and eyewear selection.
• Educate patients on lens options and insurance coverage.
• Support the optometrist with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Perform eyewear adjustments and fittings.
• Manage inventory and maintain the retail space.
