This full-time, on-site Optometric Technician role is based in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities include assisting the optometrists in performing diagnostic tests, preparing patients for eye examinations, and operating specialized optometry equipment. You will also handle appointment scheduling, perform administrative tasks within a medical office setting, and provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and supporting treatment processes.

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for patients.
• Proficiency in appointment scheduling and familiarity with medical office operations.
• Basic knowledge of optometry practices and experience with diagnostic and specialized eye care equipment is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience as an Optometric Technician or in a related healthcare field is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in optometry or healthcare assistance are beneficial.
