Medical Records Clerk

Holliswood Center is looking for a Medical Records Clerk for it's Skilled Nursing Facility in Hollis, NY.

• Compile, process, and maintain complete medical records for all residents
• Ensure confidentiality and security of all medical records in compliance with regulations
• Verify accuracy, organization, and accessibility of medical files
• Maintain and update electronic health records systems
• Audit, thin, and organize medical charts according to policy and retention guidelines
• Release authorized information to appropriate individuals and agencies in accordance with regulations
• Maintain data related to patient safety, diagnoses, treatment, and outcomes
• Assist with scheduling appointments as needed

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer proficiency required
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow‑up skills
• Prior experience in a long‑term care or healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, team‑oriented
