Description:
Our Respiratory Therapists treat patients who have difficulty breathing due to heart or lung problems. They perform tests that aid in the diagnosis and evaluation of respiratory problems using special apparatus and administering therapies. The work of a respiratory therapist includes monitoring patient’s progress and teaching patients how to use prescribed respiratory treatment methods and equipment. Our RT staff provides emergency respiratory care and routinely visits surgical patients teaching them exercises to reduce respiratory complications.
New graduates welcome
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in respiratory care preferred, Associates accepted, new graduates welcomed.
- Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program
- Excellent Customer Service skills, Good communications and writing skills.
- Certified Registered Respiratory Therapist required
- Approved AMA respiratory therapy program, NYC Respiratory Care license, ACLS/BCLS and PALS certified.
