At New York-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center, Laboratory Technologists are redefining the limits of science and medicine by studying some of the most complex and rarely seen medical conditions. Join a highly-skilled technical team in our Hematology area of the Central Laboratory.
ResponsibilitiesPerform all patient tests, read slides, conduct quality control procedures, and carry out standard preventative maintenance.
Collaborate with nationally accredited colleagues to contribute to lifesaving results.
Working Hours and Location8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.
Location:
Weill‑Cornell campus on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
- ASCP certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent curriculum)
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education Department
- New hires must obtain a Clinical Laboratory Technologist license within 6 months of hire.
- Salary range: $55.80–$66.65 per hour.
