OverviewUnder the general direction of the Program Director or Designee, the Clinical Coordinator will provide clinical and administrative supervision to Client Care Coordinators/Social Workers and Interns, and provide direct clinical services to clients with identified substance or mental health needs. The position manages day‑to‑day clinical operations and service delivery, and participates in monitoring quality and appropriateness of program services.
Salary: $89,544
Responsibilities- Provides clinical supervision to Care Coordinators/Social Workers and Interns; develop learning objectives and supervision plans; complete performance reviews.
- Ensures accurate, complete, timely client treatment records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provides direct clinical services to individuals, families, and/or groups; completes clinical documentation within expected time frames.
- Schedules and delivers clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff.
- Identifies staff training needs and plans/develops training to maintain staff competency.
- Performs supportive housing applications and psychiatric evaluations as needed.
- Provides information on referral sources and ensures required linkage agreements.
- Ensures timely and appropriate incident follow-up.
- Participates in inter‑disciplinary team meetings (required quarterly for each family) and case conferences.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work.
- NYS LMSW License for Single Transitional Housing Sites and 1–2 years clinical supervision experience.
- NYS LCSW License for Family Transitional Housing Sites and a minimum of 6 months clinical supervision experience.
- Ability to supervise, train, and teach substance abuse providers/other clinical discipline providers at multiple sites.
- In‑depth knowledge of NYC's diverse network of medical and behavioral health care organizations.
- Knowledge of evidence‑based treatments, managed care principles, and behavior practices.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR.
- Competency in written, interpersonal, verbal, and computational skills for record‑keeping.
- Experience working directly with diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
