Title: X-Ray Technician

Location: Northeastern United States (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract, Day Shift

Compensation

Pay Range: $44.10-$63.00 per HR

Description

Conduct x-ray examinations with high safety and privacy standards.

Care for patients during x-ray procedures following medical instructions.

Provide emergency assistance when necessary.

Ensure proper patient identification and image labeling.

Acquire and process high-quality diagnostic images.

Enter patient information accurately into imaging systems.

Maintain a clean and orderly imaging room.



Key Responsibilities

Perform x-ray examinations adhering to safety and privacy protocols.

Ensure patient care during x-ray procedures.

Provide emergency assistance if required.

Apply accurate patient identification and image labeling.

Acquire and process diagnostic images for radiologists.

Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment.

Report equipment issues and maintenance needs.

Qualifications

Knowledge of radiologic equipment.

Strong interpersonal skills with patients.

Proficiency in reading and speaking English.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Graduate from an X-Ray technologist program.

Current NY State License for X-Ray technology.

ARRT Certification.
