Pay $23.00 Per Hour

• Assist with personal care activities including baths (sponge, tub, shower and bed bath), oral hygiene, basic skin care and foot care, grooming of hair (shampoo and combing), shaving and ordinary care of nails
• Toileting, catheter and colostomy care (empty only)
• Transferring (bed to chair, wheelchair and shower, etc.)
• Dressing and undressing, change diaper/brief, ambulation
• Medication assistance/reminder, assist with home exercise plan
• Assist with household tasks necessary to the client’s health care needs including planning and preparing nutritious meals, assisting in feeding client, light housekeeping of client’s environment, laundering client’s clothing and bedding, assisting clients with shopping, use equipment and supplies safely
• Engage with client in conversation, hobbies, activities, board games and other proper activities
• Monitor, observe and encourage range of motion exercises and other procedures as instructed
• Maintain a written log with receipts of all client money used to purchase goods or materials for the client’s care
• Report any changes in client’s condition to the supervisor, document care provided consistent with agency requirements, perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or educational equivalent
• At least one year of experience working in home health care
• Must meet NY state requirements for caregiving services
• Safe and reliable transportation, vehicle available during assignments
• Available to work various shifts including nights, weekends, holidays
• Current HHA Certified, active driver’s license, vehicle used during shifts

• Able to lift, move, and assist clients
• Assist client in and out of a vehicle, lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50 lbs into and out of a vehicle
• Communicate with others accurately exchanging information
• Operate office equipment such as computer, phone, etc.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• Perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking and driving
