Position:
Overnight Counselor

Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-Time

Location: Pitkin Ave., Brooklyn (Logan)

Salary: $19.00/hr.

Days/Hours: Saturday & Sunday; 12am - 8am

Description:

Concern Housing is seeking a Weekend Overnight Counselor to be primarily responsible for the overall monitoring and safety of tenants at the site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read log for updates, instructions, and assignments.
• Filing, organizing charts, office cleaning, photocopying, etc., as assigned and/or as needed.
• Provide brief counseling as needed, redirect to core staff as appropriate.
• Crisis intervention as needed.
• Weekly medication counts, check for accuracy and corresponding documentation.
• Perform hourly walk-through of site during shift.
• Participate in monitoring of morning meds as needed.
• Prompt clients needing to wake early.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
• Attend agency forums.
• Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.

Position Requirements:

Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least two years of experience in a similar role.
