We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Assistants/Home Health Aides with a heart for helping residents make the most of each day. In this role, you will be a friendly and familiar face, providing hands-on care in a respectful and dignified manner. Your role is essential to the care and safety of residents who call The Bristal home. The loving care you provide is fundamental to their quality of life and wellbeing.

• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities
• Supporting residents in achieving their highest physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being
• Helping in the Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort, and wellbeing
• Following policies and procedures, and instructions from the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness

• Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer's and dementia is a plus
• Must be able to read and speak English
• Experience with geriatric population and ADLs preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines
• Basic understanding of dementia; patience and professionalism in redirecting residents
• Ability to adapt to different personalities and situations positively
• Reliable, caring, and gentle in touch and demeanor
• Respect for the elderly and maintaining calmness at all times
