responsibilities

successful completion of an approved course or program in hospital/physician billing or third-party insurance preferred. Minimum of 6 months of scheduling, billing, or insurance experience in a hospital setting or suitable combination of education and experience required. Past customer service experience required. Excellent oral and written communication.

qualifications

high school graduation or equivalent required; successful completion of an approved course or program in hospital/physician billing or third-party insurance preferred. Minimum of 6 months of scheduling, billing, or insurance experience in a hospital setting or suitable combination of education and experience required. Past customer service experience required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Typing: 25 wpm (tested) must pass basic math skills test.

must pass basic data entry skills test.

knowledge of medical terminology and insurance preferred.
