Temporary Patient Service Representative (Bilingual

URBAN HEALTH PLAN, INC.
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) will provide information, support, encouragement, and assistance to patients and families as they arrive at the health care facility. The role greets and registers patients and visitors, verifies and records patient information, and provides comfort and empathy to patients while maintaining the waiting room. The PSR also schedules appointments and resolves patient concerns.
Individuals being considered for this role may be invited to attend a special holiday hiring event that we are holding on Wednesday, December 17th.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients.
- Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Starting Compensation: $18.75 per hour based on 40 hours per week ($39,000 annualized).
Work Environment Type, Location, and
Schedule:
Applicants must be comfortable working onsite, based out of The Bronx, and have availability to commit to a schedule of 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday with some overnight/saturday options (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
