Schedule: Days and Nights available; 8×5 and 4×10 shifts

Position Overview: The Pharmacist Level 1 plays a key role in supporting high-quality patient care within a hospital setting. This role is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, providing evidence‑based pharmacological information to the multidisciplinary care team, and monitoring patient drug therapies to ensure safety and efficacy.
This is an inpatient‑only position; experience limited to mailing prescriptions from a hospital system will not be considered.

• Accurately and efficiently prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Provide pharmacokinetic and age‑appropriate dosing recommendations based on current clinical literature.
• Support clinical teams by offering pharmacological guidance and answering questions related to formulary and non‑formulary medications.
• Conduct patient education on medication usage, timing, potential side effects, and drug interactions as required by departmental standards.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to drug therapies, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and documentation requirements.

• Graduate of an ACPE‑accredited College of Pharmacy.
• 1–2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist (hospital experience preferred).
• Current pharmacy license in good standing.
