The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. They tailor each session to meet the individual needs of clients, while maintaining a calm, professional, and welcoming environment. Acknowledging and willing to learn that the Kah Nee Ta Resort & Spa Wanapine are within the boundaries of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation and abide by Tribal & Federal law and regulations.

State licensures/certification (where applicable). Proven experience in massage therapy or completion of a formal training program. Strong communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Physical stamina and strength to perform massages for extended periods.

Professional Conduct - Greet all guests warmly and by name when known. Maintain appropriate boundaries and professional tone. Avoid gossip and unprofessional behavior in all areas of the spa.

Always uphold confidentiality and discretion. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and other specialty treatments, based on client preferences and needs. Conduct client intake assessments to understand their needs, health history, and preferences before each session. Create a relaxing, comfortable environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and privacy throughout the treatment. Follow proper sanitation procedures for equipment, linens, and the massage area.

Keep the spa area clean and organized. Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor, ensuring client satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and certifications. Adhere to local laws and regulations regarding licensing and safety. Work with other spa professionals, including aestheticians and reception staff, to provide a seamless and positive client experience. Helping clean up after yourself, understanding that Spa Wanapine is a Universal, fluid, team work Spa & we all alternate & share, support each other.
