Special Education Teacher – Early Intervention
We are in need of ABA & SI Special Education Teachers for the Early Intervention Program (EIP), a public program for children under the age of three who have or are suspected of having a developmental delay or disability. EIP is funded by New York State and county governments and requires an NYS certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Birth‑Grade
2).
Cases that require Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) typically require more hours than Special Instruction (SI) cases. We provide free flexible online training courses to SI providers interested in ABA training.
We are market leaders that have been servicing children with autism in our center‑based program since 1998. Through training, webinars, and workshops—most of which are free thanks to the New York City Council Autism Initiative—we share our extensive experience. We seek a therapist who can channel this love into children in our home‑based network.
Our center‑based program for children on the autism spectrum has provided ABA services for over 20 years. We encourage all special educators to take advantage of our free services and sign up today.
Children from birth to age 3 diagnosed with autism typically require a minimum of 10 hours a week of services, ranging up to 20 hours a week depending on severity. Depending on a provider’s availability and the location of the cases, we can staff therapists up to 40 hours a week.
