Pride Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Patient Registrar for a 13‑week assignment. The ideal candidate has relevant healthcare certifications (highly preferred) and experience working in fast‑paced medical office environments. This role requires strong communication skills, familiarity with insurance authorizations, and the ability to provide high‑quality support to patients and staff.
Base pay range$21.00/hr - $24.00/hr
Key Responsibilities- Greet and register patients in a professional and efficient manner
- Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations as required
- Schedule appointments and manage follow‑ups using EPIC EHR (preferred)
- Handle patient inquiries in person and over the phone
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Support general administrative duties in a busy medical office setting
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum 1 year of clerical experience
, ideally in a medical practice - Experience in obtaining insurance authorizations
- Comfortable in a high‑volume, patient‑facing environment
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Bilingual (highly preferred)
- College degree or equivalent experience in a patient care setting
- Experience with the EPIC EHR system
