The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will be responsible for supporting and implementing residential and school student behavior plans created by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. They provide ABA interventions that encourage socially acceptable replacement behaviors, so individuals can build and improve upon their communication, social interactions, and problem solving skills. The RBT will meet their responsibilities in a manner which promotes best practice, proactive/preventative strategies, independence, inclusion, individuality, productivity, and self-advocacy for all program participants.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct program participant care in one-on-one and group settings
- Develop and implement data collection tracking tools
- Monitor short-term and long-term objectives
- Collect and report on collected data
- Lead and organize social skills and play groups
- Provide behavior related education and support to staff, including orientation teaching, staff in-services, and SCIP-R instruction

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent- 1-2 years experience working with people with disabilities

Required Certifications
- Valid NYS driver's license
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from BACB within 6 months of hire Hourly rate of pay- $18 per hour for a hire without RBT certification- $20 an hour for certified RBTs## Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
