Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist – Breast Sonographer for an assignment in a leading breast imaging department. The ideal candidate will be ARDMS certified in Breast (BR), demonstrate excellent technical skills, and be confident working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position is perfect for an experienced breast sonographer with strong diagnostic and reporting abilities, and prior travel experience is required.

  40 hours/week guaranteed
• Job Type: Full-time, Contract
• Pay: $58.00 - $71.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40 per week

• Perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
• Identify and document abnormalities; collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic information.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Work independently while adhering to departmental and compliance standards.

• Certification: ARDMS Registered – Breast (BR) certification required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2+ years of recent breast sonography experience; or 1 assignment in Travel: 1 year.
• Licensure:
  Current applicable NYS State License.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – required.

• Must be able to work independently and complete required written reports.
