St. Catherine's is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of a 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building.

Job Details
Responsibilities
- Performs all EKG’s with an emphasis on quality tracings.
- Performs and scans all Holter Monitors, performs all Electroencephalograms.
- Ability to utilize EKG management system.
- High School graduate or G.E.D.
- Successful completion of EKG/EEG training from an accredited school.
- Must be competent in detection of cardiac arrhythmias.
- Minimum 1 year previous experience in acute care setting preferred; new graduates accepted.
- Ability to operate EKG and EEG equipment. Must be able to utilize hospital information system and be proficient in Holter Monitor scanning.
- Ability to communicate in a tactful, diplomatic way.
- Ability to handle informa¬tion with strict confidentiality.
- Willingness to upgrade skills with evolvement of technology
