Our Registered Nurse jobs are full of life‑changing moments. You’ll be empowered to really make a difference.
We don’t just focus on physical and mental health. We support people’s emotional, sexual, social and spiritual needs too, to give them holistic care in their day‑to‑day lives.
Therefore, our nursing roles are all highly skilled.
What does a Registered Nurse do?The people we support are individuals – and we embrace that.
No two days are the same, but your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning and delivering professional, skilled and effective person‑centred, evidence‑based nursing care
- Developing collaborative needs‑based care plans through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Administering medication safely
- Supporting good health and wellbeing
- Liaising with external health care professionals
- Leading and managing a clinical team on the unit
To be the best Nurse you can be, we’ll empower and support your ongoing development.
You’ll start with a welcome induction to learn more about the company and our values.
Then, you’ll have a role‑specific induction in your home with three weeks supernumerary time.
We’ll continue to support you with access to learning and development training including:
- Over 60 clinical skills e‑Learning modules
- The RCNi Learning platform

Exemplar Health Care’s preceptorship programme takes you from student to professional registered practitioner, giving you the best possible start to your nursing career.
We’ll guide you through a structured 12‑month transition programme as you become a qualified Nurse and develop your skills.
The first six weeks of the programme are supernumerary. You’ll work alongside a Registered Nurse and have regular meetings with your preceptor, so there’ll always be someone by your side.
They’ll take you through our bespoke induction workbook, which covers everything from your responsibilities and accountabilities to safeguarding and personal development plans.
