The After Office Hours Social Worker will provide behavioral health services for pediatric and adolescent patients who walk-in or call ahead to the after hours mental health program located at Nappi Wellness Institute. This position works collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psycho-social management and support to patients and families. This position will provide behavioral health consultation, assessment and therapy services to at-risk patients.
The social worker will coordinate with the Integrated Care Manager and other ancillary staff on referrals to meet the psycho-social needs of patients and families.
M.S.W from a Social Work program accredited by the Council on Social Work (CSWE); M.S.W., L.M.S.W., L.C.S.W. or eligible, 3 years relevant post-master's experience (preferably in a hospital and/or healthcare environment) required. New M.S.W. graduates who are L.M.S.W. eligible will be considered for appointment to entry level (SL2) position at a commensurate salary after obtaining a Limited Permit. Incumbent must obtain L.M.S.W. within 12 months of receipt of limited permit.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a hospital and/or healthcare setting preferred. Experience working with the child/adolescent patient population preferred.
