Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
SummaryAs a Central Bed Coordinator, your strong attention to detail and organizational abilities support patient flow and contribute to an environment dedicated to safe and efficient placement of all patients throughout the system.
Responsibilities- Track and manage all new admissions for the procurement and communication of bed assignment from various entry points; manage discharges and create open bed resources; coordinate bed clean priority changes with Environmental Services; monitor key unit resources and use when capacities are met.
- Work with Administrative Clinical Coordinators regarding bed availability, census status, overcapacity triggers and escalations at Rochester Regional Health.
- Use the EMR Care Connect system to collaborate with the Emergency Department and Unit Clinical Professionals to ensure patients are admitted to appropriate units; maintain data on various databases.

Preferred Qualifications- High School Diploma or 2‑year degree with minimum of 5 years administrative office experience in health care preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- High level of proficiency with PC, software applications, and reporting tools.
- May need prior experience in CMS, Medicaid/Medicare billing, and other regulatory processes.
- Bilingual preferred.
Sedentary work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Involves sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing.
Pay Range$19.00 – $20.65 per hour.
