RN Registered Nurse Psych/Behavioral Health – Rochester, NY. Travel opportunities may be available. Housing assistance and travel reimbursements are provided. Base pay range listed below.

Base pay range: $65.00/hr

RN Registered Nurse – Psychiatry/Behavioral Health at Famous Hospital (White Glove Community Care).

• This position offers a flexible schedule ranging from 24 to 40 hours per week.
• Variable shifts: evening, overnight, and weekend availability.
• Shifts include: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shift); 7:00 PM – 11:30 PM (4-hour shift); 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (8-hour shift).
• Minimum scheduling requirement: 24 hours per week and at least 3 weekend shifts (totaling 24 hours) within each 4-week scheduling block.
• Flexibility to float as needed to other units and service lines (Civil and Forensics).
• May be required to be the only RN assigned to a floor as needed and as scheduled.
• Mandatory orientation and training: TRUST one-week in-class program; one additional week orientation including shadowing and transition to independent practice.
• Must work shifts agreed to (no shift cancellations after signup).

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and therapeutic communication with patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

• CPI Certification
• New York RN license (active)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
