• Schedule: Variable Per Diem, Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
• Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Provides clerical and administrative support, coordinating patient care activities for the physician practice.

• Ensure accuracy of patient information, including demographics and insurance details.
• Perform reception duties, greeting and communicating with patients effectively.
• Answer phones, route calls, take messages, and convey information accurately.
• Register, verify, and schedule patient appointments, tests, and referrals.
• Reschedule canceled, no-show, or tickler appointments.
• Process record requests, including copying, billing, and recording.
• Collect co-pays and reconcile funds for deposit.
• Coordinate record retrieval for new and established patients.
• Complete audits as assigned.
• Handle intake and processing of medical records and correspondence via eFax.
• Present a professional appearance and image.
• Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the role.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Preferred: 1+ years of healthcare experience.

Hourly rate: $17.72 - $33.48, based on experience.
