Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced, licensed Aesthetician to join our busy, well-established spa on the Upper West Side in NYC. If you are passionate about skincare, skilled in delivering high-quality treatments, and dedicated to providing exceptional client care, we would love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in advanced skincare treatments and client service, with the ability to create outstanding experiences for our loyal clientele. As an Aesthetician, you will perform a variety of treatments, educate clients on proper home care routines, and recommend professional skincare products.

At this time, we are looking to fill Fridays and Saturdays, with the possibility of adding additional days in the future as one of our wonderful aestheticians gradually reduces her schedule ahead of retirement. These are busy days with a full schedule and strong demand from our established clients.

As a Skin Ceuticals flagship spa, we place strong emphasis on skincare education and product knowledge. We also carry Skin Better Science, Biopelle, Dermalogica, and other professional skincare lines. Team members are expected to confidently recommend products and support retail sales.

• Perform professional aesthetic services including facials, chemical peels, Hydra Facial, Jet Peel, Glo2
  
  Facial, dermaplaning and waxing
• If certified in NYS perform Laser Hair Removal
• Develop customized treatment plans
• Recommend home care regimens and professional skincare products
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment room and adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationships
• Stay current with industry trends and continue developing professional skills

All employees complete required online education modules from Skin Ceuticals, Skin Better Science, and Hydra Facial within the first few weeks of employment. We also provide mandatory in-person education several times per year (approximately 2–3 hours per session often with National Trainers from Skin Ceuticals or other brands).

• Valid New York State Aesthetician license
• Previous experience performing professional skincare treatments
• Laser Hair Removal certification is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to build long-term client relationships
