Location:

Port Washington, NY (Nassau County). Moxie Salon and Beauty Bar is an emerging, full-service luxury beauty salon seeking passionate and talented individuals to join our team for the following roles:
Hair Stylists, Salon Assistants, and Makeup Artist. Ongoing education and training are provided. If you have a love for the beauty industry, a commitment to teamwork, and a desire to provide exceptional service to our clients, we want to hear from you.

Job types include Part-time and Full-time opportunities. Benefits and compensation are described with each role.

• Perform makeup services for clients, including makeovers such as "Moxie Reveals" and other treatments.
• Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the salon team to provide an exceptional client experience.
• Be open to taking on additional responsibilities within the salon.

• Qualifications:
  
  1) 3–5 years of experience as a makeup artist
  2) Excellent customer service and communication skills
  3) Strong teamwork abilities and a commitment to collaboration
  4) Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, events, and evenings

• Provide hair services and assist with salon operations to support day-to-day activities.
• Engage with clients to understand goals, offer service recommendations, and deliver exceptional results.
• Work within a team-based model focused on client satisfaction and growth.

Notes:
Location is Port Washington, NY; benefits and compensation are role-dependent and include potential bonuses and advancement opportunities. Ongoing education and training are provided. A valid New York cosmetology license or equivalent is preferred where applicable.

• Acknowledge and greet guests; manage register functions and transactions (open/close as assigned).
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy and accuracy.
• Assist with product placement, store standards, and customer service excellence.

• Execute assigned tasks, ensure product availability, replenish and face displays.
• Maintain store standards and support overall store operations.

• Drive sales by leading the beauty team to meet performance goals.
• Oversee daily operations of the beauty department to ensure smooth workflow.
• Train and mentor beauty associates on products and customer service; manage inventory and coordinate stock replenishment.

Work location varies by role; positions offer a mix of part-time and full-time schedules, with evenings and weekends as applicable. In-person work is required for the listed roles.
