The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Court Analyst that will serve as the E-Filing/NYSCEF Coordinator for the Court of Claims in Albany County. Court Analysts work under direct supervision, individually or on project teams, performing confidential analysis, research, planning, and other related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating with the public and court personnel.
- Answering general queries about e-filing via email and phone.
- Monitoring help tickets.
- Creating and assigning NYSCEF IDs for all CoC judges and staff, as well as conducting training on how to use NYCEF.
- Troubleshooting specific issues regarding the NYSCEF application/registration.
- Assisting e-filing users with technological/operational issues.
- Possess an understanding of key technological systems used in the NYS Unified Court System (UCS), which may include, in addition to NYCEF, one or more of the following systems: the Electronic Document Delivery System (EDDS), the Virtual Evidence Courtroom (VEC), and Advanced Data Base Master (ADBM).
Qualifications: One year in the Assistant Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
