Team

The Office of Enforcement and Neighborhood Services (OENS) leads the agency’s effort to work closely with other HPD divisions and outside community partners to identify buildings in distress, assess and develop appropriate strategies to address those properties and work closely with responsible owners to develop a plan to improve conditions and return buildings to firm financialเด็ก

Your Impact

Under general supervision, the selected candidate will perform an Administrative Support/Community Coordinator and will perform a variety of administrative functions in the office of the Division of Code Enforcement (CODE).

Your Role

Your role will be an Administrative Support/Community Coordinator in the Division of Code Enforcement (CODE), you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Your Responsibilities
  • Perform very complex and responsible analytical or coordination work related to Lead;
  • Monitor Lead performance reports; meet with staff to discuss any deficiencies; and recommend changes to the Chief and Deputy Chief to improve performance outcomes;
  • Ensure that Lead files, records, and logs are maintained;
  • Maintain a variety of difficult and responsible statistical reports, including maintaining, examining, preparing and creating spreadsheets;
  • Conduct research and respond to inquiries;
  • Update tracking reports and inventory logs, and review program plans;
  • May review Lead forms and documents and perform scanning functions;
  • Provide technical assistance and training to staff in techniques of program implementation and management;
  • Provide interpretation;
  • Make recommendations on Lead policies and procedures;
  • Assist the Lead Unit Chief and Deputy Chief with special projects, as necessary.
Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency with PC software applications, such as Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Bilingual skills
  • May be assigned to any office within the five boroughs and may work evenings and weekends
Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community‑centered activities related to the duties described above; or
