The Public Affairs Associate is responsible for working closely with Senior Manager, Public Affairs to provide high‑level administrative and executive support for the Executive Vice President of Public Affairs and office management support. Public Affairs’ Mission is to inspire and activate a diverse, influential audience that is invested and empowered to contribute to the conservation of wildlife and wild places. We do this through impactful communications and advocacy advancing WCS’s science, field work in nearly 60 countries around the world and its five zoos and aquarium in New York City.
We forge valuable relationships and partnerships with governments, communities, the private sector, and NGOs; and by sharing information resources including the historic record of WCS’s 125+ years of leadership in wildlife conservation and zoological expertise.
