The Difference You Make:
The Executive Director, Corporate Banking Relationship Manager manages overall relationships with many US based corporations, throughout the Santander footprint, across all products.
- Serve as the primary contact for client group, developing and driving opportunities to sell the banks products and services.
- Deliver specified budget and financial metrics.
- Acts as a liaison with the client, client coverage team, credit and other business partners, including subsidiary bankers and product sales across regions to help deliver the firm to the client.
- Supports ad hoc requests from clients, interacting across internal stakeholders.
- Assists with ensuring assigned client portfolio is kept current with all aspects of the firm’s KYC/AML requirements.
- Monitors credit exposure across the family relationship and partner with Credit Risk on credit related asks.
- Manages due diligence, credit, coverage, reference data and other requirements resulting from corporate actions.
- Participates in client planning activities and client calls.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience:
Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field.
- Required. - Master's Degree:
Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field.
- Preferred.
- 12+ Years Relevant work experience - Required.
- Significant Corporate Banking or related product experience.
- Strong Corporate Banking background with experience navigating complex global organizations.
- Deep knowledge of credit.
- Strong and diverse product knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales skills in a fast paced environment.
- Able to utilize full range of prospecting sales activities.
- Self starter and able to self generate sales prospects and pipeline.
- Proven ability to build and develop relationships. Strong internal network will be critical to success.
- Highly self-motivated to work independently and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business.
- Strong Microsoft office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working in an environment that is evolving and subject to change.
What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
