Position Overview: As an FP&A Analyst, you will support the credit union’s financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis functions. This role provides forward looking financial insights to support balance sheet management, funding strategy, and strategic initiatives, while partnering closely with Finance leadership and Deposit Strategy.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Maintain and support the financial budgeting model, including assumptions documentation, scenario analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Assist business partners by responding to budgeting questions and coordinating accurate, timely budget inputs.
  • Support financial planning and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis related to income statement performance, balance sheet trends, and liquidity.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and materials for ALCO, executive management, and internal committees.
  • Collaborate with the Deposits and Payments Department by providing analytical support for deposit initiatives, pricing strategies, and growth scenarios.
  • Analyze the financial impact of investment activity, wholesale funding strategies, and balance‑sheet changes to support liquidity and ALM decision making.
  • Support liquidity stress testing activities and provide backup support for ALM modeling and reporting under the direction of Finance leadership.
  • Respond effectively to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies, and other processes.

Minimum Qualifications &

Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Financial, Accounting or Business-related discipline required with 1-3 years of relevant experience. 3-5 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • High level of Excel proficiency required
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and PCs, etc.

Preferred Qualifications &

Experience:

  • Experience with using derivative instruments.
  • Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel to develop and maintain complex financial models supporting forecasting and scenario analysis.
