We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our LINE of Asset Servicing Finance team. This role is located in New York.
Responsibilities- Support Operations leadership in achieving financial targets and other strategic objectives, act as advisor and provide necessary data and transparency to facilitate decision-making
- Prepare and publish presentation materials, including Internal Business Reviews (I ), and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) or Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with senior stakeholders
- Drive Operations expense and headcount management, reviewing financials monthly with senior leadership and key stakeholders

Ops efficiencies against plan and flag risks - Review hiring requisition queue, challenging Add to Staff and Replacement demands, allocating Interns and Analysts where demand exists
- Complete line-by-line review of FTEs and Contractors with Ops leads to efficiently forecast headcount
- Manage annual planning from end-to-end, working with Operations and Platform leadership on expected growth demand, efficiencies, and expense targets
- Work with Ops leadership and People Business Partner to address Based at Home, micro teams, non-collocated employees
- Manage multi-channel communications plan, such as weekly Leadership meetings, monthly Extended Leadership meetings, Townhalls, Offsites, weekly newsletters
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
- 8-10 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred
- Experience in Operations Finance and Business Management preferred
- Change mindset, self-starter with the ability to work independently and with frequently changing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the organizations from senior stakeholders to individual contributors

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $196,250 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
