- Control the outflow by directing all functions responsible for disbursing cash, ensuring alignment between procurement commitments, AP aging, and treasury liquidity
- Audit vendor terms, transition legacy check payments to ACH/virtual cards, and extend Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) to maximize operating cash flow
- Partner with the business to enforce strict procurement hygiene, eliminate maverick spend, and ensure all capital outlays are strategically sequenced to protect minimum cash floor; automate cash positioning and build an early warning liquidity telemetry system
- Deliver highly accurate, automated 13-week cash forecasts; navigate seasonal liquidity troughs with precision, ensuring the business never unnecessarily draws on the $150M Revolver
- Conduct rigorous management of daily cash positioning; treat Treasury as a profit center by optimizing yield on concentration accounts and reducing redundant bank fees
- Serve as the primary steward of financing instruments; oversee flawless execution of interest payments, financing leases, and amortization schedules
- Execute hedging strategies for interest rate and FX exposure to immunize the P&L against market volatility; lead communication with our banking syndicate
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of a new Treasury Management System (TMS) and modern Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform; migrate operations off legacy infrastructure into a unified, automated ecosystem
- Audit and optimize merchant processing fees and interchange rates across hundreds of millions in annual payment volume; ensure strict adherence to debt covenants
- Lead, mentor, and rebuild a high-performing team across Treasury, AP, and Procurement; instill a culture of systems-over-spreadsheets and people-first leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Corporate Treasury, Finance, and Operations, with direct oversight of AP and Procurement functions
- Extensive experience in PE-backed or highly-levered environments
- Proven track record of managing tight liquidity constraints, complex debt structures, and stringent covenants
- Demonstrated experience leading full-scale TMS and/or P2P implementations (e.g., Kyriba, Coupa) and migrating off legacy systems
- Strong communicator who can manage banking syndicates, drive internal alignment, and inspire a large operational team
- MBA, CPA, or CTP designation

The anticipated base salary for this position is $ USD to $ USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by multiple factors, including qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location. Base salary is one component of Metropolis’ total compensation package, which may also include healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, disability coverage, life insurance, a stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience. Our corporate team members hold to an office-first model, which may require on-site presence four days a week.
