Job summaryTeam and Position
Crédit Agricole CIB is among world top 10 banking groups. Our NY-based Leveraged Finance team handles origination and execution of LBOs with leading Private Equity Funds in North America, and financings for leveraged (non-investment grade) corporates, across loans and HY bonds. The team also handles event-driven financings for Investment Grade clients and leveraged/structured financing in the TMT sector, including infrastructure-related deals, with Infrastructure Funds across North America and Latam.
It is referred to as the “LATFG” team. The team is expanding and a Portfolio Management analyst position is opening.
1) Credit monitoring of our loan portfolio
- Contribute to ongoing credit monitoring for part of the leveraged finance and TMT loan portfolio (current volume around 70 deals): write-ups of annual reviews, credit papers for waivers and amendments, quarterly write-ups for loans under watch. Coordinate with respective deal/client teams.
- Proactively flag early warning signals of credit deterioration and opportunities to LATFG managers, Portfolio Management Director, and client teams.
- Ensure timely propagation of internal rating decisions within internal IT systems.

- Coordinate with CLF LOSA and deal/client teams to ensure authorizations in internal systems are accurate and up to date.
- Maintain close coordination with LATFG client teams and interact with clients when necessary to clarify credit questions.
- Review quarterly or annual information provided by clients, connect to lender or investor calls, and relay summaries to LATFG team managers and client teams.
- Occasional involvement in live deals as part of the origination deal team, depending on deal flow.
2) Contribute to internal and regulatory reporting
- Collect data and, under the PFM Director, assist with monthly and quarterly reporting requests (HO business line, COO teams, RPC): monthly anomaly reports, Lev Fin pipeline, portfolio review files, and LBOs database.
