Position

Purpose:

Provide operational support to the Securities Lending trading desk by assisting with daily trade flows, market analysis, and issue resolution. The role supports traders in optimizing lending activity, managing risk, and identifying market opportunities.

Primary duties will include:

• Support Securities Lending traders with day-to-day operational activities.
• Utilize DTCC systems to monitor and reconcile the flow of securities positions in and out of the lending book.
• Assist in analyzing borrow demand, rebate rates, and overall market trends to support trading decisions.
• Conduct research on hard-to-borrow securities and corporate actions to identify potential lending opportunities.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with counter parties in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation using Microsoft Office tools, with a strong focus on Excel.

Early Careers Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or masters degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and finishing university by December 2026-August 2027 (entering penultimate year of university)
• Available for a June 2026start date for a 8-10 week program
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel)
• Mustbe authorized towork in US for any employer

Working environment
:

• 4 days in the office, 1 day at home

Hiring Hourly Rate Range $36 - $38 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data).
