Location: New York
A dynamic alternative investment firm is seeking an Assistant Controller / Controller to enhance its accounting and finance infrastructure. This role involves overseeing the monthly and quarterly close processes, preparing GAAP financial statements, and managing regulatory filings among other responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA preferred, and over 5 years of experience in accounting, particularly within hedge funds or alternative investments.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting is essential.
