Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Reporting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join Bay Ridge Subaru in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic financial planning to drive our company's success.

• Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Develop internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safeguard assets
• Manage relationships with external auditors and tax consultants
• Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance with supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
