Fund Launch Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client in New York, NY that is seeking a Fund Launch Project Manager to join their team!

Summary:

Join a dynamic team that drives the successful launch of innovative investment products and strategic offerings. As a Fund Launch Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end fund onboarding and deal execution for specialty finance investments, including private loans, whole loans, and other unique financial products. This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with legal, finance, operations, technology, and portfolio management teams to deliver seamless fund launches and support complex deal structures.

What You'll Do:

* Lead the implementation of specialty finance products and fund launches, coordinating across internal teams and external service providers

* Partner with stakeholders to identify onboarding requirements and design optimal support models

* Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring milestones, timelines, and risks are clearly defined and executed

* Standardize onboarding processes by creating documentation, workflows, and operating models to support scalability

* Prepare reports and deliver presentations to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the onboarding lifecycle

* Ensure timely account openings and operational readiness for new funds and deals

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) or equivalent experience

* 7+ years in financial services operations, with hands-on experience in specialty finance, private loans, or private credit

* Proven expertise in project management and process improvement

* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Visio, Miro, and  is a plus

* Exceptional communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

* Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable driving change

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
