Tax Supervisor – Entertainment Business Management Firm

A top entertainment business management firm in NYC is seeking a Tax Supervisor to join their growing team. The primary focus will be on managing client service work related to business management and taxation. This hybrid role requires three days in-office and offers an exciting opportunity to work with high-profile clients in the entertainment industry.

• Prepare complex, multi-state tax returns, including individual, S corporation, C corporation, partnership, estate, and trusts.
• Stay up to date on changing state and federal laws, policies, and economic conditions that may impact clients’ finances.
• Supervise and review staff accountants' preparation of moderately complex tax returns.
• Conduct tax research and multi-jurisdictional planning.
• Act as a coach and mentor to help staff members develop into effective client team members and address performance issues as needed.
• Assist partners in identifying and onboarding new clients.

• 3+ years of experience in accounting and taxation for high net-worth individuals.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting;
  Masters in taxation preferred.
• Active CPA license highly preferred.
