A leading global forensic accounting firm is seeking an experienced Forensic Accountant / Business Interruption Specialist to join its New York office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile, complex matters within a respected international practice.
The RoleIn this role, you will take ownership of significant business interruption claims and advisory projects, from initial assessment through to final resolution. You will also play a key leadership role within project teams and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing large, complex business interruption loss claims and pre-loss exposure engagements
- Overseeing claims and projects end-to‑end, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Managing, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and external stakeholders
You will be an accomplished forensic accounting professional with strong business interruption experience and the confidence to operate at a senior level.
Ideal background and skills- Proven experience in insurance-focused forensic accounting, with a strong emphasis on business interruption
- Ability to lead complex claims and engage in C‑suite-level discussions
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong networking and relationship‑building ability
- High proficiency in MS Office
- Additional language skills are an advantage
