Tax Manager – International Tax and Transaction Services – Private Companies

As an International Tax Services Manager with a focus on private companies, family office, and high net worth individuals, we’ll look to your knowledge across a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising elegant outcomes to some of the most complex challenges around. key responsibilities

Depending on your unique skills and ambitions, you could be managing various responsibilities, from technical tax analysis and advising to global project management.   • Identifying and resolving complex domestic and international tax issues
  • Providing technical tax advice and structuring services to a portfolio of projects
  • Building long‑lasting relationships with our clients, developing your understanding of their unique needs and requirements
  • Building and leading a dedicated client service team, providing performance feedback and guaranteeing your people always have the skills, tools and opportunities they need to grow
  • Constantly developing your own knowledge, maintaining your status as a trusted advisor by monitoring emerging trends, technologies and practices
To qualify for the role you must have
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and approximately 5+ years of related work experience
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant tax consulting experience or equivalent experience in business or industry;
  • Experience (i) with international tax matters and (ii) working with privately‑held business and high‑net worth individuals/families
  • A US CPA license, state bar membership, or eligibility to obtain a CPA or state bar membership within the first year of employment
  • Experience with a variety of international and individual tax issues, including third‑party and internal transactions; experience preparing or reviewing domestic income tax and/or U.S. international informational returns (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, , 1120, 1120‑S); experience with tax research and writing; experience with tax modelling in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • A master's, PhD, or LLM in Business, Tax, Finance, Economics, Management, Policy Analysis or a related field
  • The ability to communicate complex tax concepts to clients
  • Confidence in your ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects
  • MS office background and a willingness to travel
