As part of our continued global expansion, we are seeking a Chief Investment Officer
to join our Manila office and support firm-wide investment operations and advisory functions.
The Chief Investment Officer will play a key role in supporting all investment-related functions across the firm, including financial planning, research, portfolio construction, and trading. This position requires a highly detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a solid understanding of financial markets and advisory operations.
Chief Investment OfficerJob Description and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain investment platforms and systems
- Build, rebalance, and maintain client portfolios
- Enter, execute, and confirm trades accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate portfolio records and reporting data
- Generate comprehensive financial plans using approved planning software
- Support advisors with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and projections
- Respond to advisor and client data queries related to investments and planning
- Research investment ideas, funds, and strategies
- Support securities analysis and due diligence
- Assist with operational workflows related to trading, reconciliation, and reporting
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all investment-related outputs
- Work closely with advisors, operations, and compliance teams
- Identify and recommend process improvements where appropriate
- Operate effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration
, or a related field - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in investment operations, financial planning, asset management, or research
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Solid understanding of:
- Financial markets
- Portfolio construction
- Financial planning concepts
- Trade processing
- Investment operations
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Professional designations such as CFA, CFP, CHFC, CPA, CIMA, CAIA a plus
- Experience supporting advisors in a wealth management or RIA environment
- Exposure to U.S.
-based investment advisory or cross-border client structures
License/Certification:
Chartered Financial Analyst (Preferred)
