Tax Accountant, Tax Manager
Location: New York
A rapidly growing infrastructure and technology company operating across data centers, high-performance computing (HPC), and digital asset infrastructure is seeking to add a Senior Tax Accountant to its team. The company provides AI-optimized infrastructure supporting machine learning, large language models, and other compute-intensive workloads, with operations across North America and Europe.
The OpportunityThe Senior Tax Accountant will report directly to the Senior Tax Manager and play a key role in supporting global tax provision, compliance, and operational tax processes.
This role offers exposure to both tax provision and compliance
, including ASC 740 reporting, corporate and partnership filings, and coordination with external advisors. It is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to build well‑rounded technical tax experience within a fast‑growing technology and infrastructure business.
- Prepare quarterly and annual global income tax provisions and related disclosures in accordance with ASC 740.
- Maintain detailed support for deferred tax balances
, book‑to‑tax differences, valuation allowances, FIN
48 balances, and other tax accounts. - Prepare monthly tax‑related general ledger reconciliations and coordinate journal entries with the accounting team.
- Review externally prepared quarterly tax estimates, extensions, and filings for corporate and partnership entities.
- Prepare work papers and gather data to support tax return preparation by external advisors
. - Assist with review of direct and indirect tax returns
, including sales and use tax filings. - Maintain the company’s tax calendar and filing inventory
, ensuring timely filings and payments. - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in tax processes through technology and automation

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
- 3–6 years of tax experience in public accounting or a combination of public and industry.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. corporate tax compliance
. - Experience with corporate and partnership taxation
. - Experience with One Source Tax Provision, Alteryx, or tax automation tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
